"How are you doing?" seems to be the most appropriate thing to say these days. Without stating the obvious, I know it has been a minute since I have engaged with all of you on this beautiful platform.

I took a minute to pause, to regroup, to breathe, to be... and hope you had the chance to do the same. Disruption often times is a necessary "evil", or more appropriately, part of life. "Not all storms come to disrupt your life, some come to clear your path," I have often heard, and learned to believe in. Life goes in cycles, bringing with it moments of adversity and breakthroughs that always brings forth opportunities, which may not always be obvious until the storm subsides. While the winds may still be blowing these days, one thing I discovered through the past year, is that I needed this disruption more than I thought.

Not all storms come to disrupt your life, some come to clear your path.

I needed a "clap your hands together" TIME OUT. A moment to reflect, stay calm, and to enjoy the mundane simple joys of living. I needed to accept change, an eternal life partner that may not always be welcomed, but one I am grateful for in this journey. In this period of uncertainty, my love of writing has never wavered. I collected every fleeting thoughts as love, loss, grief and glimmers of hope disturbed my comfort zone.

There is beauty in disruption. This is not the first one we shall face, and will surely not be the last. But I have learned to have faith in the unknown, comfort in deeper truths, and sincerely hope that all of you too can find a glimmer in the darkest hours.

I hope you take pleasure in reading my upcoming shared thoughts and stories as much as I have in writing them.

With Love,
